Why Taking Personal Time Off Is Important
No matter what department you work in - Sales, Finance, Operations, Support, or Leadership - prioritizing your Personal Time Off (PTO) is essential for maintaining a healthy Work/Life Balance. It allows you to recharge, relax, and rejuvenate, ultimately leading to increased productivity and job satisfaction. So, whether you're crunching numbers, closing deals, managing operations, providing customer support, or leading a team, taking time off for yourself is a crucial piece of the puzzle to ensure you are performing at your best both personally and professionally.
Lots Of PTO Options
From vacation days to paid time off for volunteering, Simpay offers a range of PTO options to cater to the diverse needs of our team members. We understand that work-life balance is crucial for maintaining overall well-being, which is why we encourage all full-time Simpayans to take advantage of these benefits. Whether you need a mental health day, time to spend with family and friends, or simply a break to recharge, our PTO options ensure that you have the flexibility to prioritize you! So go ahead, plan that vacation, take that long weekend, or simply enjoy a day off - your well-being is important to us.
Floating Holidays
Team members are allotted two floating holiday days in addition to regular, accrued PTO. You may utilize your floating holidays at your discretion for personal, religious, or cultural reasons within the calendar year. In your first year with Simpay, if you're hired after July 1st, you'll get one Floating Holiday. These floating holidays won't rollover, so be sure to use them each year. There's no minimum "service time" requirement, so all Simpayans have access to this additional PTO.
Birthday Time Off
Love to celebrate your birthday? You have Birthday PTO too. Take any day during your birthday month for your special celebration. All you need to do is coordinate with your leadership and request the time off. There's no tenure requirement with Birthday PTO and it resets each work anniversary year and doesn't rollover, so take a day off and enjoy a big slice of birthday cake!
Charitable Time Off
Each Simpayan is allocated 1 full day (8 hours) annually of paid time off for volunteering, allowing you to take a day to give back to your community and make a difference in the lives of others. In order to be eligible for the Charitable Time Off benefit (CTO), you must have been employed for at least one year. Remember, the CTO doesn't accrue or rollover, so make sure to use it each year before your work anniversary.
Accrued Paid Time Off
Accrued PTO is based on a few factors, the first being your length of service. Accrued PTO can be used after your first ninety days with Simpay. The longer you work at Simpay, the more PTO you are eligible for. The general policy is that your PTO bank resents on your annual work anniversary, and you can rollover up to forty hours of PTO into the next work year. Unused PTO hours will be forfeited, so check with your leadership, and book some time off. You've worked hard and you deserve it.
Time off rollover policies may differ from Simpay's Standard policy based on the state or local laws in your area and all PTO requests should be submitted via your online employee portal.
